The body has been pie sectioned 2.5 scale inches in rear & side character line straightened. The top was chopped 2 scale inches in the front & 4 scale inches in the rear, & converted to a hardtop. The front & rear gravel shields have both been molded into the body, & the hood has rounded corners as well as a new center peak. The front bumper has been smoothed & peaked, & the rear bumper has been smoothed. Flush fitting fender skirts were scratch built. The taillights are also scratch built from pieces of a plastic holiday utensil. The headlights are from a '50's era Jaguar, & the molded in bezels are from a '57 Ford. The grille is from a '56 Chrysler, & the side trim is scratch built. The tires are from Modelhaus, & the hubcaps are modified versions of Model Car Garage Sombreros with added center bullets. The paint is House Of Kolor Kandy Tangerine Basecoat on top of red. All chrome is Alclad except for the window trim & side trim. Interior: The '50 Mercury dash is from Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland. The steering wheel is a '53 Ford with an added bullet on the horn. The shift lever & turn signal lever were scratch built, as well as the rearview mirror. The seats & door panels have all been modified with added tuck & roll inner panels.
